If you bid for our license plate, we encourage you to bid for more plates in our listings as our prices are right and yet, you'll save shipping cost because the shipping will increase only $2 for each additional plate. Itis expired and in very good condition. We hide the number because this one "was dropped" in the major flood in Thailand in 2011. The owner must have got a replacement one already (same registration number). In other words, each auctioned registration number has an owner, that is why we have to hide the number of the one on the listing. Are you a serious license plate collector ? If you are, there are some facts you must know. As fake Thailand license plates are prevalent, these are things you should know about current Thai plates, which are authentic/genuine/legitimate. 1. There must be an embossed seal on one corner. (Fake plates may have this too). 2. This is important, there must be a nine-digit serial number on one corner. 3. Also important, there must be a stamped seal on the back side. 4. There must be some kind of hologram on the sticker. We may hardly find this on graphic ones (auctioned plates), because of multicolor. 5. As for auctioned plates, these are numbers on the plates : Thai graphic license plates are specially made only for most wanted numbers which can be obtained through auctions only. Among 1 – 9999, there are 301 numbers considered “most wanted numbers”. These numbers are:- 1, 2, 3,……. 11, 22, 33,…… 111, 222, 333,…… 1111, 2222, 3333,….. 1122, 1133,……. 1212, 1313,…… 1221, 1331,…… 1000, 2000, 3000,……. 123, 234, 345,...... 1234, 2345, …… Thai people like number 9999 most as they believe it brings good things to their lives. The winning bid for this 9999 has set a record at 8 million Baht ($ 1 = 30 Baht). As you know, Thai plates have 2-letter prefix. Once number 1 through 9999 in one prefix have been used up, they move to a new prefix and set up an auction for 301 numbers again. If the number of an auctioned plate is not one of these patterns, it's fake for sure. Serious collectors please do not under estimate the value the auctioned plates (graphic ones). They are really rare. I normally sell one around $100, depending on the size of provinces and numbers(low# vs high #) Payment - We accept payment via Pay Pal only.
